International Hellenic University organises workshop on: Penal Law Anticorruption Enforcement Legal Privilege.
The workshop will take place on 6 May 2016 from 16:00-18:00 in International Hellenic University - Thessaloniki (14th Km Thessaloniki – N. Moudania, Greece).
Legal Analysis of Certain Aspects Regarding the Following Issues:
- General/comparative principles of corporate criminal liability in key jurisdictions and basic legal framework for Anti-Bribery Laws
- Comparision between UK and US Anti-Bribery Laws focusing on jurisdictional reach
- Enforcement trends in UK/US cases: sentencing approach and guidelines, recent settlements, Deferred Prosecution Agreements and self-reporting
- Legal priviliege and its application in the international investigations context
- Practical issues arising as regards the EU data protection (in particular extra-EU transfers_ and recent trends in Cybersecurity law and regulation
- International sanctions regimes and enforcement.
