The University of Macedonia in Greece organises the first Summer Academy in Zagora on the Pilion mountain in Greece consisted of two summer schools from July 8 to July 20, 2016.
The first summer school is organised by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Macedonia for 3 days on the "EU Area of Freedom, Security and Justice" (25 hours) 0n July 8-July 11, 2016.
Special guest is Miguel Gardeñes Santiago, Profesor Titular in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona who will teach on EU Private International Law.
The tuition is 350 euros for early registration up to May 28 and 420 euros for late registration.
The second summer school is organised by the Unesco Chair of the University of Macedonia, Greece on the "Protection of Human Rights in Europe" on July 14 to July 20 (40 hours) in Zagora, Pilion, Greece.
Special guest is Professor Lech Garlicki, f. Judge at the European Court of Human Rights and at the Constitutional Court of Poland. He will teach on the European Convention of Human Rights. Special guest is also Ass. Professor Alina Tryfonidou, Reading University UK who will teach on LGBT rights.
Early registration is 500 euros (up to May 28) and late registration 600 euros.
There is a reduction of 10% for those who will attend both summer schools of our summer academy.
There will also be 2 scholarships for each summer school under conditions.
