Modern Greek Teacher at Pinewood - The American International School (Thessaloniki)

Pinewood - The American International School seeks a highly qualified and motivated Modern Greek teacher to join our school in a part-time capacity beginning in the 2016 - 2017 academic year.

Requirements for the position are as follows:
1. Native Greek speaker
2. Fluency in English
3. Bachelor's or higher in Greek Philology or Greek Language & Literature
4. Valid teaching certificate
5. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Beyond these basic requirements, we seek someone who is a team player, creative, energetic and comfortable in an international setting. The Modern Greek teacher that we hire will have experience teaching both native and non-native Greek learners, demonstrate competence in differentiating instruction to meet students' needs, possess strong communication with parents, be proficient in inquiry learning and assessment, inventively incorporate IT into classroom learning and have a willingness to contribute to the school's broader activities.
