The Family Care and Dynamics Centre (Famcare) at the University of Antwerp seeks expressions of interests from potential postdoctoral researchers wishing to apply for Marie Sklodowka Individual European Fellowships. Selected candidate will receive dedicated support from our directors Dimitri Mortelmans, Paul Van Royen and Frederik Sweenen, and Research Manager Jude Murison to develop their proposal and application for submission to the European Commission on 14 September 2016.
Famcare – Family Care and Dynamics
Famcare is a Centre of Excellence bringing together over 100 researchers in the field of sociology, law and medicine. Under the leadership of, our research focuses on a greater understanding of family dynamics and relation, innovation in socio-economic politics of intergenerational solidarity and care in an ageing society. Our members research on a wide range of issues, such as care of the elderly, family relationships after divorce, inheritance rights, families in transition, new forms of families and kinship, and innovation in qualitative and quantitative methodology including the existing data sets.
Marie Sklodowka Curie Fellowships
The Marie Sklodowka Curie Individual Actions (MSCA) are prestigious fellowships funded by the European Commission. They offer a generous allowance for 1-3 years including mobility, family and research allowance. Applicants can be from any country, must hold a PhD (or equivalent), and must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Belgium for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the MCIF deadline on 14 September.
