International Rescue Committee seeks for:
- Farsi Female Translator/Cultural Mediator (Farsi to English or/and Greek)

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translations, social sciences, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in an English speaking context.
- Experience working at international development programs highly desirable
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Kurdish, or Urdu and ability to translate into English and vice versa
- Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Responsiveness to queries and referrals as and when needed and able to manage a varying workload
- Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people
- Experience in translation/ interpretation services
- Experience of working with refugees and vulnerable groups of people
