Competitive postdoctoral research opportunities are available for outstanding young international researchers in the Energy Institute of the İstanbul Technical University (İTU).
Newly established research areas include theoretical and computational low temperature condensed matter physics, quantum thermodynamics, cavity optomechanics, unconventional and topological superconductivity, superconducting metamaterials & devices.
İTU is one of the leading research universities in Turkey which also has a separate Department of Physics in addition to the Energy Institute. İstanbul has a busy habitat in research areas related to Quantum Technologies with internationally productive research groups in 6 major universities.
The selected candidates will be provided on-campus furnished housing, social benefits and a 12 month competitive salary (extendable to another year depending upon progress) starting from 1 September 2016.
