Anatolia is seeking a part-time administrative assistant for its after school English programs as of August 2016.
Requirements:
Advanced word- processing including XL Photoshop
Fluency in oral and written English and Greek
Previous relevant experience and qualifications from secretarial school an advantage
Availability to work afternoons and early evenings
Personal Characteristics:
Excellent communication skills in order to deal with colleagues, students, parents and phone enquiries
Ability to display a professional attitude at all times including maintaining a friendly yet disciplined environment both for colleagues and students
Ability to multi-task and be an all-round aid for the smooth functioning of the programs
Flexibility of thinking and action, and the ability to prioritize tasks are a must
Main Responsibilities:
To assist the program coordinator in the smooth every day running of the Bridge/Bilingual/Link Programs
To handle all correspondence needed to inform parents regarding registration and payment.
To handle fees collection, issue receipts and give regular updates to coordinator
To issue and collect teacher time sheets and class timetables
To see to the daily needs of teachers including photocopying and forwarding homework to absentees
To arrange appointments for coordinator to meet with parents/prospective parents
To answer enquiries on the programs with courtesy and tact
To supervise students during the small breaks if necessary
To fill in for teacher aids in circumstances where it becomes necessary
To keep a record of program supplies and deal with ordering after approval
To ensure the safe exit of all students at the end of the day
To assist in the coordination of events such as Xmas show, Summer Fair and to compile and coordinate the yearbook
