Médicos del Mundo seeks for:
- Mental Health & Psychosocial Support Worker Mediterranean Crisis

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Assess MHPSS needs in the field and ensure a psychosocial approach in all MdM´s interventions
- Be part of the field team in fixed and mobile medical units.
- conduct trainings in Psychological First Aid, PFA, for workers/volunteers directly intervening with migrants/refugees
- Conduct trainings for health staff (including medical and non-medical personnel) on issues of gender, SGBV and how to respectfully and supportively engage with survivors and provide compassionate care.
- Conduct trainings of care of caregivers for workers/volunteers directly intervening with migrants/refugees.
- Participate and implement the MHPSS intervention strategy in the fixed and mobile medical units, including SGVB and torture cases.
- Contribute to Ddevelop a standard referral pathway for severe cases of Mental Health, victims of SGBV and/or torture, who may disclose to health staff, and ensure training for health personnel on how to provide safe, ethical, and confidential referrals.
