The Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre (BDDC) at the University of Guelph, seeks highly motivated researchers for Postdoctoral Fellow positions to support and advance research activities at the BDDC.
Specific positions available at present time are:
- Design, processing, and characterization of multiplayer bioplastic films/sheets for compostable and high barrier packaging applications (one position)
- High performance hybrid biocomposites from engineering plastics and hybrid fillers (one position)
- Reactive extrusion and injection molding of biobased plastics and composites (one position)
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with senior scientists from different areas (materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, polymer chemistry, packaging and plant agriculture) and will have the chance to work collaboratively with industrial partners.
Initial review of applications will begin June 15, 2016 and continue until the positions are filled. The positions will close when an adequate number of qualified applications are received.
