The Young Scientist Competition is an initiative of the FP7 projects INNO INDIGOand INDIGO POLICY. Since 2014, it has given young researchers from India and Europe a podium to promote their research projects and ideas for cooperation.
This year, they are looking for innovative research or ideas in the fields of bio-economy, biotechnology and bio-based energy.

Expressions of interest to partcipate should be submitted by 1 July 2016.
- All participants will receive enormous exposure for their projects and project ideas.
- The 4 finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects and project ideas to the EU-India scientific community at the EU-India STI Cooperation Days 2016 from September 21-22 in Goa, India (all expenses paid).
- The winner will win a conference trip to an EU member State (for Indian applicants) or India (for European applicants) and, of course, benefits from a broad public outreach for his/her project idea!
