The International Institute for Human Rights and peace organizes a Human rights education training, from August 22th till August 26th 2016.
Objectives:
During 5 days, the Institute offers participants to discover and learn about human rights education through a participatory approach, within a group dynamic stressing on action and experience.
The aim of this training is to give participants concrete means to invite youths to actively participate to the promotion of human rights, and especially to the struggle against all forms of intolerance, xenphobia, racism and discrimination.
This training is addressed to people working or wishing to work with publics (young or less young) on these questions, with or without having a human rights background.
Trainers:
-Laure de Witte, trainer and expert on “Human Rights Education for the Council of Europe”, co-writer of the “Compass” manual for Human Rights Education with the youths;
-Jonas Bochet, jurist, director of the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace;
-Sarah Barnier-Leroy, jurist, project officer at the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace (youth projects).
