As part of its drive to enhance its research output, promote a strategic research community within the Baltic States, and enhance its internal teaching and educational activities, the Baltic Defence College runs a Visiting Fellowship Programme. This programme aims to provide the means for two researchers annually - one during spring and one during autumn (three months) - to join the faculty and engage in an independent research project and teaching activities within the Baltic Defence College.

- Stipend: No stipend is offered – this position is ideal for a researcher on sabbatical from another institution;
- Accommodation: Ida Street Apartments (one bedroom apartment);
- Facilities: Office space at the Baltic Defence College
