The Symposium "Frontier Biomechanical Challenges in Cardiovascular Physiopathology" will deal broadly with advances in cardiovascular biomechanics and their promise for clinical therapeutic strategies and future research.
In this symposium, advances in cardiovascular research will be explored as they pertain to the understanding of the function and structure in normal and disorders, including valvulopathy, cardiomyopathy, thoracic pathologies, endoprosthesis and medical devices.
There will be keynote presentations by expert clinicians followed by those of prominent scientists in the field of biomechanical engineering research.
The scientific organisation of the symposium is guided by the Italian Chapter of the European Society of Biomechanics (ESB-ITA) which encourage, foster and promote research in the science of biomechanics in Italy.
