Job description:
This position will enable a student to complete his/her doctoral degree.
We expect:
- Research in the area of architectures for distributed embedded systems based on deterministic Ethernet networks and real-time operating systems
- State-of-the-art analysis of architectures in different application domains (e.g., automotive, avionics, railway)
- Design and prototype implementation of a software execution environment based on a real-time operating systems for hosting multiple applications on the same hardware
- Establishment of a distributed simulation environment for systems based on deterministic Ethernet networks
- Framework for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing
- Documentation and presentation of results including project reports
