The Radio Systems research group at University of Vigo, part of the School of Telecommunication Engineering, conducts several research lines on radio systems, which includes mobile communications, Wireless LANs, point to multipoint networks and digital television (terrestrial, satellite). Most of the research is directed towards the analysis of the radio channel, characterization of propagation impairments, noise and interference, and the design of techniques to mitigate these problems.

Among the experimental facilities, the Radio System group has a rectangular anechoic chamber, and different general-purpose instrumentation, from generators to vector network analysers. The measurement
capability is extended up to 67 GHz.
