Master Fellowships in Arts & Humanities, University of East Anglia, UK (2015 - 2016)

Art History and World Art Studies and associated partners based at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts offer a variety of Masters level courses. Scholarships and other awards available include:

Faculty of Arts and Humanities Studentships
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of East Anglia is pleased to announce the availability of 4 Home/EU MA funded studentships for entry in 2015/16. For UK residents awards consist of fees (£7,000) and a tax-free maintenance grant (equivalent to AHRC RPM rates which is currently £9,681) and for EU residents awards are on a fees only basis (£7,000). All applicants will be assessed on the merit of their full application (which includes one academic reference). Applicants wishing to be considered for these studentships should apply by 1 March 2015 and hold an offer by 11 March 2015, therefore early applications are recommended. This funding is part of the University's dedication to developing and enhancing postgraduate education in all disciplines of the Arts and Humanities.

4 x MA Arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas Scholarships
This MA, run by the Sainsbury Research Unit, provides candidates with detailed knowledge of the visual arts, historical and contemporary, of Africa, Oceania and the Americas. Employing anthropological, archaeological and art-historical approaches, it is suitable as a stand-alone Master's or as a foundation for doctoral research. Emphasis is placed on small-group and individual tuition and the development of research skills. A strong museological strand makes this course appropriate for those interested in museum curatorship, a career pathway followed by many alumni. These Scholarships cover Home/EU or International fees.

50% Final Year Undergraduate Continuation Scholarship
Current final year UEA School of Art, Media and American Studies students who gain a final overall average of 67% or more and progress onto an MA course within the School in September 2015 will receive a 50% fee reduction scholarship.

Current final year UEA undergraduate students from other Schools who gain a 1st class degree and progress onto a postgraduate course in September 2015 will receive a 50% fee reduction scholarship. Those who do not gain a 1st class degree will still be eligible for the 10% UEA Alumni Scholarship outlined below. Terms and conditions apply.
