Tvebiomovies 2016 is a video competition inviting anyone from any age and from any country to create a one-minute film about the environment.
Films should address the issues outlined in one of the five categories looking at the different aspect of planetary boundaries: biodiversity, forests, family farmers, recycling, and oceans and seas.
Films could be funny or serious, an animation, a drama or a documentary.
Entrants will have to submit a written proposal about their films before 19 August 2016, 23:00 GMT.
Films should be up to 1 minute and be in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish or Russian.
Entrants can compete individually or in-group, but there must be a lead filmmaker.
A judging panel will select the best three proposals in each category, which will be funded with US$300. Funding will only be awarded on delivery of the film
The finalist films must be received by 17 October 2016.Finalist films will be displayed on tve‘s Inspiring Change YouTube channel between 24 October and 17 December 2016.
The film with the most views in each category will win a prize of US$1500.
