International Medical Corps seeks for:
- GBV Men/Boys Engagement Officers
Knowledge and Experience:
- Technical diploma or degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human rights, law, international relations, education, women’s health, or related degree.
- Minimum of one year experience in implementing GBV programs, preferably in community-based psychosocial/women empowerment programming, in humanitarian or development settings.
- Experience working with refugees preferred.
- Experience with overall Protection, Child Protection, and/or MHPSS is a plus.
- Committed to rights-based and community-based approaches.
- Demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable women.
- Experience with training facilitation preferred.
- Good data management and qualitative/quantitative reporting skills, including ability to manage case documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong capacity for engagement of teams, communities, and various stakeholders on GBV, with good understanding of relevant cross-cultural and sensitive issues.
- Ability to represent on GBV/Protection programs and support GBV mainstreaming and field coordination with other Protection actors and sectors.
- Ability to support with program development.
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to both work independently and take initiative, as well as interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with team-members.
- Good listener.

- Strong problem-solving skills and innovation to address gaps and challenges.
