Oxfam seeks for:
- Programme Coordinator
Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
- At least 6 years of international management experience within the humanitarian and/or development sector, with at least 2 years of relevant-specific international experience, leading large-medium size humanitarian programme oversea, in the field of WaSH, Protection and Food aid.
- Proven knowledge and experience of implementing humanitarian programs in the field of WaSH, EFSVL and Protection, building on mature understanding of relevant issues derived from field practice.
- Proven experience in applying Global Humanitarian Standards and SPHERE standards, through programmes previously managed.
- Strong emergency program management knowledge with ability to ensure consistent quality against international and Oxfam humanitarian standards.
- Relevant experience in leading the development, and ensuring the delivery, of program strategy, either through partners or direct implementation.
- Experience and proven success in writing proposals for fundraising from diverse institutions.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to think strategically, including the ability to think beyond the country program context and to act within a regional and global framework.
- Experience in leading and motivating large multi-disciplinary teams and a high degree of self-awareness and an understanding of how to drive and support excellent team performance and individual development.
- Proven experience in representing an organization with partners, government agencies and donors at senior level.
- High level financial management experience of managing multi-million euro budgets.
- Proven commitment to Oxfam’s values, including to promoting gender equality and women’s rights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence, and negotiate.
- Knowledge and understanding of Operational Security Standards.
- Have sound and proven knowledge and ability to apply NGO/Red Cross Code of Conduct, the People in Aid Code, SPHERE, Oxfam International procedures and other regulatory codes.
- Previous experience in managing large ECHO funded programme is desirable.
- Previous experience with refugee responses at managerial level is an asset.
- Ability to speak and write professional English, knowledge of Greek is an asset.
