Doctoral Prize Fellowships, University of Bristol, UK (2016-2017)

The University of Bristol invites applications from outstanding PhD researchers for the University of Bristol EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellowships, which are available to both internal and external candidates. The Fellowships are designed to support recently graduated and soon-to-graduate PhD students, and will enable the successful applicants to take the first steps in their research career.

Applicants must have submitted their PhD thesis by the application deadline, and must have received EPSRC funding for their PhD in the form of stipend or fee support

The expectation is that successful candidates will take their research to the next level, for example, through delivering a high-impact fundamental research breakthrough, or transferring existing PhD research into a completely different area to exploit new interdisciplinary research opportunities.
