Each PhD candidate will work on one of the following three projects:
Project 1: Strengths use and work engagement
Project 2: Leisure time and performance among elite athletes
Project 3: Inspiring oneself through daily individual work design
At this point, the three projects are loosely defined. This offers PhD-candidates ample room for input in the project design phase, of course in close cooperation with the supervision team. All projects will be based at the Department of Psychology, Education, and Child Studies. The PhD students will work within the Centre of Excellence for Positive Organizational Psychology.
Requirements
Candidates should have a Master’s degree with a relevant background in Work & Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, or Sport Psychology (Project 2). Demonstrable experience and skills in scientific writing and research methods are required. Advanced statistical skills (e.g., SEM, Mplus) are a strong advantage. In addition, the applicant should be proficient in English and Dutch and should be motivated to conduct applied field research.
