Junior Energy Engineer at Effective (Athens)

Currently we are seeking to recruit a young, qualified individual to join team within the field (Industrial & Commercial facilities/buildings, Offices, Utilities etc.) and support the energy efficiency department on energy analytics & energy projects (design & construction). All candidates must possess strong technical knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency technologies, green building, sustainability and high performance design

Essential Requirements:
• Technical University degree in Electrical Engineering
• Energy Production/Distribution and Consumption Systems as a domain of expertise
• Familiarity with RES and profound comprehension of Electromechanical equipment and infrastructures
• Good knowledge of design & simulations programs such as:
o AutoCad
o Matlab
o DIALux or RELUX
• Good Knowledge of SCADA logic
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Fluency in English
• Up to 27 years old

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform energy engineering studies, including energy audits & feasibility studies
• Perform and review facility audits, feasibility studies and reports, related to both program implementation and turnkey projects
• Project coordination for energy efficiency and green building projects
• Conduct project fieldwork, analysis, and report production using standard resources and templates and custom tool development
• Review calculations and assumptions used to estimate or measure savings due to energy efficiency and green building projects
• Conduct research on a variety of technical topics, including renewable energy, smart grid, power utilities.
• Compose initial drafts of technical deliverables and project reports
• Carry out engineering analysis and calculations in support of project activities
• Prepare project presentations, case studies, and other deliverables
• Prepare and edit project qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

 Master Degree in Automation Systems
 Knowledge of Analytics is a plus
 Strong organizational, teamwork, and technical skills
 Project management skills
 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
 Fulfilled Military Service obligations
 Good command of German/Spanish/French language will be appreciated
 1-2 years of previous relative working experience would be preferred
