Save the Children seeks for:
- Health and Nutrition Manager
Essential:
- University degree in health / public health / nutrition / social sciences or other relevant field, and/or Full registered Nurse or Midwife Qualification or relevant health practitioner.
- Knowledge and understanding of health and nutrition determinants amongst migrant and refugee communities, health and nutrition policies and practices globally and in Greece and the European Union, with emphasis on Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health
- Strong primary health care /community health care/public health experience in resource poor settings
- Demonstrable commitment to promoting and supporting optimal breastfeeding and complementary feeding, quality antenatal and postnatal care;
- Demonstrable management experience, including budget holding responsibility;
- Experience of designing and implementing programmes (ideally health and nutrition-related), including monitoring and evaluation;
- Experience in conducting assessments and an understanding of health and nutrition data and information systems;
- Proven capacity to supervise, train and coach staff;
- Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions;
- Prepared to live and work in an uncertain security environment;
- Ability and willingness to frequently travel and stay in the field;
- Demonstrable ability at report writing and excellent communication skills;
- Computer literate;
- Fluency in written and spoken English
