The Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) is Singapore’s flagship program for genomic sciences; it houses integrated teams of geneticists, computational biologists, developmental biologists, and functional genomicists who use traditional and massively parallel technologies to address molecular questions of medical importance.
The following laboratories are seeking highly motivated and independent postdoctoral fellows with a proven academic track record and interest in interdisciplinary research. Experimental postdoctoral candidates should have a Ph.D in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or a related field and have rich experience in RNA biology, cell biology, and genomics. Computational postdoctoral candidates should have a PhD in bioinformatics, computer science, biostatistics, or a related field and have past experience analyzing Illumina or other types of next generation sequencing (NGS) data.
