Editorial Assistant at Intenews Europe (Athens)

Intenews Europe seeks for:
- Editorial Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Greek
- Excellent English writing/editing skills; journalism experience a plus
- Familiarity with the humanitarian sector and the current refugee crisis in Europe
- Interest in and familiarity with new media and new digital applications for citizen journalism and information access
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills; ability to liaise with representatives from the humanitarian community, local media, local government and army, and other relevant actors, when required
- Willingness and ability to work in sometimes demanding situations, and with deadlines
- An understanding of the vision/mission, core values and objectives of Internews
- Psychological resilience and a sense of humor
- Relevant university degree
