Field Officer at HIAS (Lesvos)

HIAS seeks for:
- Field Officer

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. international law, human rights, refugee law, international relations, political science, journalism, communications, psychology); refugees with relevant experience whose university level schooling was interrupted will also be considered.
- Fluency in Arabic highly desirable.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Strong interviewing skills, preferably with a background interviewing refugees or trauma survivors.
- Knowledge of Syrian and Iraqi country conditions and/ or international law strongly preferred.
- Experience with asylum or refugee status determination procedures preferred.
- Ability to adapt to fluid working environment and changing legal context.
- Eligibility to work in Greece required.
