Research Technical Specialist, Cyprus Institute,Cyprus

The CyI invites applications for a Research Technical Specialist position.

Candidate Requirements:
- A PhD in a relevant field of science such as Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Analytical Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography Methods
- Publications in a relevant field
- Presentations in international conferences
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience following the acquisition of Master’s degree
- Computational skills (expert level) in Geographic Information System (GIS) and SPSS (PASW) and/or XL stat
- Teaching experience will be considered an advantage
- Participation in national and EU Research Projects
- Knowledge of HYSPLIT models
- Knowledge of Land Regression (LUR) Models
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to adopt to a multicultural/multinational environment
- High level of organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of the Greek language will be considered an advantage.
