International Medical Corps seeks for:
- Wash Programme Officer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Political or Social Science, International Relations, Humanitarian Assistance, Migration Studies, Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience;
- Work experience in the NGO sector in a project management support capacity;
- Familiarity with international humanitarian operations, coordination structures, and the mandates of donors, UN agencies, and other NGOs;
- Ability to effectively present information and respond appropriately to questions from senior managers in the field and HQ, counterparts, senior government and other related regional players
- Experience in project development and management;
- Experience in drafting and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks;
- Experience liaising with specialized international agencies (UN agencies, international organizations and international specialized NGOs);
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English with superior English language drafting skills;
- Ability to speak read and write in Greek, other languages a plus;
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions with limited supervision;
- Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations;
- Creative and able to work with limited resources;
- Team player and strong communication skills, both oral and written;
- IT proficient with standard MS Office package; MS PowerPoint, Photoshop/InDesign a plus.
