What is it all about? A paid internship of one year with the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) starting on 1st September.
This internship scheme is addressed to Roma candidates only.
Candidates of Romani background who have completed either a post-secondary education attested by a diploma (e.g. bachelor’s degree or equivalent) or a secondary education attested by a diploma and professional experience of min. two years relevant to the work of the Department they apply for.
Roma interns are selected from nationals of the Member States of the European Union and EU candidate and potential candidate countries.
Places for the Roma internship programme are offered in the following FRA Departments and sectors:
Directorate;
Administration;
Human Resources and Planning;
Equality and Citizens’ Rights;
Freedoms and Justice;
Communication and Outreach.
Roma interns are requested to have a very good knowledge of English.
How to apply?
Applications should be made in accordance with the procedures published on the FRA website.
Any candidates of Romani background that meet the minimum eligibility criteria may apply. Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are incorrectly submitted will be rejected. FRA will not return applications to candidates.

Complete the FRA online application form clearly indicating the Department(s) and Sector(s) of your choice and your motivation to apply.
