The South Coast-Doctoral Training Partnerships has announced an exciting opportunity for 36 fully funded ESRC PhD scholarships across Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton universities. Enthusiastic students who have their own ideas about exciting research projects are welcomed to apply Students from Roma/Gypsy/Traveller communities are encouraged to apply. Inter-disciplinary projects related to following topics:
- Social media, belonging and identity;
- Visual representations;
- Activism and political voice;
- Romaphobia (racism against Roma, Gypsies and Travellers);
- Policy (e.g education, housing, health and social care, employment);
- Environment and sustainability;
- Citizenship and security.
