The positions of post-doctoral fellows/PhD scholarships are available at the Institute of Soft Matter Mechanics (www.ismm.ac.cn/english/) and the International Center for Numerical Simulation Software in Engineering & Sciences (http://www.ccms.ac.cn/english/) at the Hohai University. Founded in 2006, both entities are forward-looking comprehensive research hub with a global vision and a mission to combine engineering mechanics with advanced mathematical approaches, and to bring together researchers from various disciplines and around the world.

The focus areas of intense research are anomalous diffusion, turbulence, inverse problems, relaxation, creep, viscosity, radial basis function, computational high-frequency waves, statistical mechanics, ultra-slow diffusion, engineering reliability analysis, entropy, Non-Gaussian distributions, sediment movement mechanics, groundwater dynamics, non-Newtonian fluid, fractal derivative and operators, frequency-dependent dissipative vibration and acoustics.

We are now inviting applications from candidates with related research experiences in the above-mentioned research topics and good potential for research and teaching.
