The University of Reading is offering 10 new PhD scholarships, starting in Autumn 2017, to mark the fifth anniversary of its highly rated Graduate School.
About the scholarships
These three-year awards will cover the cost of tuition fees (at Home/EU rate), £10,000 per year towards the cost of living expenses, and £1000 per year towards the cost of training and development.
The awards will be open to applicants wanting to study in a broad range of disciplines within the following interdisciplinary research themes:
- Environment
- Food
- Health
- Prosperity & Resilience*
- Heritage & Creativity
Eligibility
To apply for PhD study, applicants will need qualifications or experience equivalent to a first or upper second class honours degree. Some Arts & Humanities disciplines may also require a Master’s degree.
