The newly founded Graduate School “Hannover School for Biomolecular Drug Research” (HSBDR) invites applications for four PhD scholarships. The Graduate School will provide interdisciplinary training in three different areas (chemistry, biology and medicine). The program will be funded by the state of Lower Saxony. The monthly allowance will be 1400 € with the possibility for additional funding if the applicant is married and/or has children. The institutional basis for the HSBDR will be the Centre of Biomolecular Drug Research (BMWZ) which was established as an interdisciplinary research centre at the Leibniz Universität Hannover. The individual projects can be found on the webpage of the program: http://www.hsbdr.uni-hannover.de/. The latest start of the program will be October 1st, 2015. Females are preferentially chosen if equally qualified to enhance the level of female PhD students. If equally qualified, disabled persons will be chosen first. The program is a joint initiative of the Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Technische Universität Braunschweig, the Helmholtz Center for Infection Diseases in Braunschweig, Hannover Medical School and the Twincore in Hannover.
