International Rescue Committee seeks for:
- Child Protection Training Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in Social work, Political Science or related field in relation to children’s rights;
- 3 years of experience in child protection programming, with specific components on provision of trainings on key child protection aspects;
- 1 year experience in developing child protection trainings (agenda, materials, etc.) on specific topics like case management, BIA, family tracing and reunification, Child Protection Minimum standards, among other core child protection topics;
- Experience in working with and supporting capacity strengthening of civil society organizations. Diverse geographical professional experience preferred. Experience working within complex emergency preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence peer agencies, local government and community leaders to work effectively towards a common and agreed upon result;
- Good facilitations skills, well organized and able to work independently to organize all trainings;
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement best practices and processes affecting multiple technical specialties to achieve rapid, consistent and high quality outcomes;
- Excellent use of Word package (Word, Power Point, Excel) required;
- Experience developing, resourcing and leading trainings;
- Excellent verbal and written English skills. Greek language skills advantageous.
