The EU-funded FRAME project will run a workshop on Human Rights and Vulnerability, on 5 April 2017 in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
The workshop, hosted by The Netherlands Institute of Human Rights (SIM), will bring together an international and interdisciplinary group of scholars working on the intersections of human rights and the notion of vulnerability.
Given that vulnerability has emerged as a concept in human rights law, the day will introduce issues of Conceptualization, Contestation and Resilience to explore state obligations, human rights law, institutions and the impact of populist movements.
