3 PhD Scholarships in Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science, University of Vaasa, Finland (2017)

The Faculty of Technology focuses on research and teaching within the fields of technology and business studies. The Faculty has specialized in developing energy technology and know-how together with international industrial enterprises and regional businesses. The core of our research is the management of solutions for efficient energy generation and distribution, as well as environmentally friendly solutions. The curriculum is designed to provide competence for challenging leading and expert positions in the rapidly changing and globalizing corporate world.

The Faculty of Technology is inviting applications for three Doctoral student positions:

- Doctoral Student, Mathematics
- Doctoral Student, Statistics
- Doctoral Student, Computer Science

These are fixed-term contracts for 2 - 4 years. The start date is at 1.8.2017 or as agreed.

The doctoral students will perform research and study related to their intended degree. Further tasks include teaching as well as a limited amount of administrative tasks. The tasks are agreed in more detail in the annual working plan.
