Founded in 1920, Swansea is a vibrant, research-led university at the forefront of academic and scientific discovery. The University's School of Management is a research-led, internationally focused centre of excellence for learning and the advancement of knowledge in Business and Economics. The School of Management has a growing international expertise in a broad range of research areas covered by Business Management, Accounting and Finance and Economics.
Based in a state of the art building on a new seafront campus, the School has an international reputation for excellence in research and teaching, which is reflected by the successful REF2014 result. In REF2014, the School achieved an overall GPA of 2.93, positioning it in the top 30 (out of 102 submissions) amongst UK Business Schools. Continuing the success of REF2014, the School of Management is now focused on expanding its PGR community and is pleased to invite applications for funded PhD for the September 2017 intake.
