"ENTERTAINMENT-Bringing Social Rights to our Local Agendas”, Training Course, 27 April - 1 May 2017 | Surami, Georgia
Youth Social Rights Network, supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, in the period of 2017,will be implementing a set of activities, also known as “ The Cinema for Social Rights -Supporting the process of improvement of social rights for young people in Europe”, so as to improve access to social rights of young people by advocating for placing the implementation of Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)3 on the agenda of different stakeholders in Council of Europe member states, and by improving structured dialogue for improvement of access to social rights for young people and implementation of Recommendation C M/Rec(2015)3(also referred to as the “Enter! Recommendation”).
“The cinema of social rights” is one of the Y-SRN’s long term programmes focused on one of our main priorities: Supporting the implementation of the Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)3 of the Committee of Ministers to member States on the access of young peoplefrom disadvantaged neighbourhoods to social rights.
ENTERtainment aims to develop youth workers’ competences for:
- advocating for access to social rights for young people and the use of Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)3, and
- developing an advocacy strategy that will be further implemented by organizations of participants in cooperation with the Y-SRN.
International travel costs will be reimbursed up to 70% of the total amount of the ticket. Participants will be accommodated in summer cottages inSurami Training Center for Youth. 2, 3 or 4 persons will be sharing a room in the Center. All participants are required to pay a participation fee of 30 euros. The fee is deducted from the refund of travel expenses. Visa costs will be fully reimbursed. The project is supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
