Design and Implementation Engineer in Czech Republic

Verizon is a global leader in Communications, IT solutions, Information and Entertainment Services. For the Centre of Excellene in Prague, we are currently looking for Design and Implementation Engineers.

You bring/ you are:

Knowledge: Technical knowledge and experience at CCNP or similar level with focus on contemporary technologies (e.g. MPLS, TCP/IP, IPSec, BGP, QoS, IP Telephony, Multicast, etc.).
Several years of experience in the design and implementation of large-scale customer networks.
Fluency in English required; proficiency in other major languages desired.
Basic knowledge of business processes (e.g. ITIL, Project Management) and the impact thereof on the technical environment.
Attitude: Flexible work-attitude, being willing to work at irregular hours when required, but at the same time knowing how to set boundaries and find a healthy work-life balance. Having found a middle way between procedural and optional focus.
Ethics: Working at an ethical level that goes beyond mere compliance, but keeping in mind the needs of colleagues, customer and company at an integral level and basing decisions on those ethical principles.
Communication: Professional level of personal and business communication at levels ranging from operational engineering to customer technical contacts.
