The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies – GEMMA – is a two-year Postgraduate interdisciplinary programme that provides high quality education and professional competencies for personnel interested in developing expertise in or intending to work in the areas of Women’s & Gender, Sexualities, Diversity and Equal Opportunities across Europe and beyond. Students benefit from international mobility as they study at two different European universities and obtain a double degree from the Home and Mobility institutions.
You can choose two of the following academic institutions: University of Hull (UK) – University of Granada (Spain, coordinating institution) – University of Oviedo (Spain) – University of Bologna (Italy) – University of Lodz (Poland) – University of Utrecht (Netherlands) – Central European University (Budapest, Hungary).
Eligibility
- You have a previous University Bachelor degree (or its equivalent: 180 ECTS, minimum 3 years of study);
- You can study in the medium of English, Spanish or Italian languages;

Scholarship
The award of Erasmus Mundus scholarships (2017-2019) is conditional on the GEMMA Master scholarship renewal under the Erasmus+ call EAC/A03/2016. The selection results of this call will be announced mid-2017, after which students will be informed whether or not they will receive an EM scholarship. Prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarships under the framework of Erasmus+ are offered to NON EUROPEAN (PARTNER COUNTRY) STUDENTS. The scholarships cover tuition fees and health insurance and include a monthly living allowance.
