Post-Doctoral Fellow, Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics, Cyprus (2017)

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is looking for a Post-Doctoral Fellow for the Neurogenetics Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will work on research projects, prepare research grants and contribute to the supervision and teaching at the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine. The position is for a period of 24 months with a possibility of extension.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

PhD degree in any Biological Science or closely related fields

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Documented prior work experience in:

• graduate and/or postgraduate level teaching and student thesis supervision,

• project management, and

• Neurogenetics.

Documented skills in:

• grant writing,

• bioinformatics,

• microscopy,

• cell and molecular biology techniques.
