The laboratory of Prof. George Kollias at BSRC Fleming is seeking independent postdoctoral scientists with excellent track records that wish to apply jointly for competitive research grants such as Marie-Curie, EMBO, HFSP, ERC Starting grants etc. Projects will build on the lab's extensive expertise in dissecting molecular and cellular mechanisms mediating the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory diseases in animal models, towards the development of novel therapeutic approaches. The successful candidate will be a member of a highly interactive research group that operates across immunology, molecular and cell biology, systems biology, animal modelling, assay development and drug screening.
Researchers will have the opportunity to do research in a state-of-the art environment based on merit, scientific excellence and innovation, as well as to benefit from the Center's Core Facilities (including Animal house, Transgenesis facility, Genomics, Proteomics, FACS, Advanced imaging and Phenotyping units, as well as Technology Transfer Office).
Candidates should have a PhD in Life Sciences, and proven ability to tackle complex problems in an independent manner.
