2015 Summer School of the LabEx DynamiTe (Aix-en-Provence, France)

The 2015 Summer School of the LabEx DynamiTe will be held from 21 to 25 September 2015, at the Château de la Pioline in Aix-en-Provence (France).

This year, the main focus will be:

“Geographical Information in the Humanities and Social Sciences: Data Management and Modelling”

The course aims to familiarise the participants with the principal and potential uses of geomatics in the context of research. It will involve the development of skills for the structuring of databases with a view to answering scientific questions.

Hence, the problems of data acquisition, modelling and management will be tackled through the effective implementation of specific procedures (GPS, georeferencing, geocoding, geostatistics etc.).

Please note that during this Summer School, courses and conferences will be given in French.

Minimum level: Master’s Degree.
