Now the following topics are the priority for our Institutes:

Institute for Regenerative Medicine

- Development of biomimetic tissue engineering approaches for tissue formation and recovery of its morpho functional characteristics;
- Development of tissue-engineered pre-vascularized bioequivalents with multilayer epithelial lining for reconstructive urogenital surgery;
- Hybrid assemblies of decellularized bovine pericardia and vasculogenic hydrogels towards personalized soft tissue xenotransplantation;
- Development of prototypes biomedical functional systems based on laser-structured graphene substrates.

The Institute for Regenerative Medicine (IRM), Sechenov University (Russia) was established by the merger of the scientific groups of Sechenov University, which had work in the field of regenerative medicine for a long time before. The research groups involved scientists from the Institute of the Molecular Medicine and the Institute of Uronephrology, as well as a large number of scientists from leading Russian and foreign laboratories. Now the Institute have a number of the leading International scientific people in the stuff.
