Junior Android Developer at E9 Innovation Ltd in Cyprus

E9 Innovation is looking to hire a Junior Android Developer to join its team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be working with a small team of developers to develop the company’s ever-increasing educational app portfolio. More specifically, he/she will:

- Contribute to our Android apps’ development under strict code quality standards
- Write unit, integration, and automated UI tests
- Integrate with our custom Salesforce backend

Requirements:
- At least one published app in the Play Store or any other app stores
- Fluent in Java
- Experience in at least 1 scripting language (Python, Bash, etc)
- Knowledge of OOP principles, design and architectural patterns
- Excellent knowledge of the Android SDK and Material Design guidelines
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Ability to write clean, documented, maintainable code
- Proficient in English

Additional skills would be considered a plus:
- Experience with Kotlin
- Experience with relational databases (e.g SQL)
- Familiarity with popular frameworks such as Retrofit, Dagger, etc
- Familiarity with continuous integration and testing
- Open source projects and/or contributions
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Communication
- Fluent in English
