The United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. UN Environment's Ecosystems Division works with international and national partners, providing technical assistance and advisory services for the implementation of environmental policy, and strengthening the environmental management capacity of developing countries and countries with economies in transition. This post is located in the Ecosystems Division, at the Mediterranean Action Plan(MAP) in Athens, Greece.
Education
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training in the field of finance, budget, account and administration services is highly desirable.
Work Experience
A minimum of seven years of experience in finance, budget, accounting, administrative services or related area. Experience and knowledge of the UN Financial Rules and Regulations is an advantage. Proven experience working with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will be an added advantage.
