The training is meant for youth workers working with Roma youngsters who are interested about the possibilities within the Erasmus+:Youth in action programme.
Why?
The participation of Roma youngsters and especially those one who are socially disadvantaged is still low within the projects of Erasmus+.
With this training we want to support participants to understand in a deeper, more meaningful way “nonformal education within youth work” and the possibilities of Erasmus+ as a tool of inclusion and empowerment of Roma young people.
What?
A 5-day training where youth workers can learn about the possibilities of the Erasmus+ and how to use it as a tool to support the personal development and inclusion of Roma youngsters.
Specific aims and objectives:
- to know the possibilities of the Erasmus+ program
- to learn the basics of project management in Erasmus+
- to understand nonformal education within youth work as a tool of inclusion and empowerment of Roma young people
- to learn good practices from other organizations
- to create space for building international partnerships;
For Whom?
Youth workers working with Roma youth
Target group:
This training course is meant for those who:
- are working with Roma youngsters;
- are from a group or organization that is in a position to implement youth projects after the training;
- are prepared to implement the learning of this training course in their youth work;
-are committed to attend for the full duration of the course;
- are over 18 years old;
- are able to work in English or to bring somebody who can translate for you (please mention it to the application form).
