Mentoring is a key element of success of EVS projects. For this reason, the training course is adapted to the reality and needs of mentors and tutors. The aim is to increase the quality of sending and hosting EVS projects.
Objectives:
Training "The major functions of tutoring in international mobility"
- Learn to better understand the role of the mentor (who is the mentor? What has to be done and how?)
- Learn about Erasmus + and especially about EVS
- Get answers to technical / practical issues
- Exchange experiences, questions
- Develop Tools and methods for his/her role as mentor
- Get to know the different projects
- Build a local dynamic partnership around EVS
Contents:
The training will include working in workshops on preparing for sending, on support to facilitate the integration and the monitoring of volunteers in the hosting project, on conflict management, and various practical aspects related to mentoring.
This project is financed by the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the host NA and the sending NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country.
