Field Assistant (Arabic/Kurmanji/Sorani) at the Mercy Corps (Athens)

Mercy Corps seeks for:
- Field Assistant (Arabic/Kurmanji/Sorani)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree is desirable
- At least 2 years of work experience; previous experience with international or local NGOs or other relevant organizations is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Arabic is required Kurmanji/ Sorani is an asset
- Comfortable with MS Office Word and Excel
- Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel, as well as with community members; experience working with local communities is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members is required
- Experience in meeting facilitation and community mobilization is highly preferred
