- Protection and Gender Coordinator
Primary Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Human Rights Law, Social Work, International Relations, Conflict transformation, Development studies, or related discipline. A bachelor’s degree will be acceptable only if the candidate can demonstrate significant experience in protection programming in humanitarian settings
- Five years of experience working on protection issues in humanitarian contexts, including experience in complex humanitarian response and resilience programs; and all phases of the project/program cycle
- Experience setting up protection monitoring and legal assistance programmes
- Experience in leading SGBV programming
- Knowledge of human rights law, refugee law and the legal framework that supports the international refugee protection regime
- Knowledge of the European Asylum System and familiarity with recent policy developments affecting asylum seekers in Greece
- Proven experience of successful capacity-building of humanitarian field staff and partners on protection concepts, theory and practice
- Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English. Arabic/Farsi would be an advantage
- Ability to work in multi-cultural team

- Ability to develop capacity building frameworks and work plans
